The terms that apply to our website and our engagements.

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of rankforge.com.au. Services we provide to clients are governed by the specific written proposal or agreement signed for that engagement, which prevails over anything on this page.
2. Information on this website
We aim to keep information accurate and current, but the content on this site is general in nature and does not take account of your particular circumstances. Prices shown are the total payable and do not attract GST, as Rankforge is not currently registered for GST; if that changes we will update this page and any affected quote. A price given in a written quote applies for 30 days from its date.
3. Quotes and engagements
Website builds are quoted at a fixed price against an agreed scope. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins. Website builds are invoiced 50 percent on acceptance and 50 percent on launch. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance and may be cancelled by either party with 30 days’ written notice.
4. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing content, approvals and feedback within reasonable timeframes, and for ensuring any material you supply does not infringe anyone’s rights. Delays in providing material will extend project timelines.
5. Ownership
On final payment, you own the website files, content and design produced for you, together with the domain, hosting account and analytics properties, which are registered in your name from the outset. We retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, frameworks or components we use across clients, and the right to describe the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
6. Search engine rankings
Search engine rankings are determined by third parties, primarily Google, and are affected by factors outside anyone’s control. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific ranking, traffic volume or business outcome. We commit to the work described in your agreement, performed to a professional standard.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or refunding the amount paid for them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
