Get found by the people already searching for what you sell.
There is a fixed number of people typing your service into Google this month. SEO decides how many of them see you instead of the businesses above you. Month to month, no lock-in, reported in plain English.
Every retainer includes
- Technical audit and ongoing fixes
- Keyword strategy tied to revenue, not vanity terms
- Two new optimised pages or articles a month
- Link acquisition from real, relevant sources
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile where it applies
- Conversion review — traffic that doesn’t convert is a cost
- Monthly call with the person doing the work
What actually moves rankings
SEO gets deliberately mystified. It isn’t magic — it’s four things done consistently for long enough.
Technical
Can Google crawl and understand your site, and does it load fast enough on a phone on 4G? Fix this first or nothing else compounds.
Content
A page for every service and every question, written to answer properly. Thin sites don’t rank, and AI-slop sites rank for a while and then don’t.
Authority
Other credible sites linking to you. Earned slowly through real relationships, suppliers, associations and press — not bought in bulk from a marketplace.
Local signals
If you serve a physical area: Google Business Profile, reviews, consistent listings. This decides the map results, and it’s where most businesses leave the most on the table. More
AI answers are the new page one
Google’s AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT now answer a large share of questions before anyone clicks. That doesn’t kill SEO — it changes what wins.
Answer the question directly
Pages that state a clear answer in the first paragraph, then support it, get pulled into AI summaries. Pages that meander don’t.
Structured data everywhere
Schema markup tells machines what your page is. We put it on every page as standard — service, FAQ, organisation, breadcrumb.
Be the cited source
Real expertise, real numbers, a named author, a real business behind it. Generic content has never been more worthless than it is now.
What happens after you sign up
Weeks 1–2 — Audit and fix
Full technical crawl, Search Console review, competitor gap analysis. We fix everything blocking you: speed, indexing, broken pages, missing schema, duplicate titles.
Weeks 2–4 — Foundations
Keyword mapping against your existing pages, internal linking rebuilt, and — if you're a local business — Google Business Profile and citations sorted. Fastest wins live here.
Weeks 4–8 — Content build
We start publishing: the service pages you’re missing and the questions your customers ask before they buy.
Weeks 8–12 — Authority
Link acquisition, supplier and association listings, digital PR where it fits. Slower, and the part most agencies quietly skip.
Month 3 onward — Compound
Two new pages a month, keep fixing, keep earning links. This is where it starts paying for itself.
Industries we know well

How much does SEO cost in Australia?
Our retainers start at $1,200 a month and run to about $3,500 for competitive multi-service work. Across the market $1,000–$5,000 a month is the normal range for a small to medium business. Below about $800 you're generally buying a report, not work. Our SEO cost guide breaks the numbers down.
How long until I see results?
Realistically 4–6 months for competitive terms, with earlier wins on longer, more specific searches and on local map results. The compounding really starts around month six. We'd rather tell you that upfront than sell you a 30-day miracle.
Can you guarantee I'll be number one?
No, and neither can anyone else — Google's own guidelines say rankings can't be guaranteed. What we will do is show you the keywords we're targeting, why we picked them, and the movement each month. If a competitor is guaranteeing you position one, ask them for it in writing.
What do you actually do each month?
Technical fixes, two new optimised pages or articles, link acquisition, local profile management where relevant, and a review of what's moving. You get a summary of exactly what was done, not a dashboard export.
Do I need SEO if I'm already running Google Ads?
They do different jobs. Ads buy you traffic today and stop the moment you stop paying. SEO is an asset that keeps producing. Most of our clients run both — ads for immediate work, SEO so that in twelve months the ad budget is optional rather than essential.
What happens if I cancel?
Give us 30 days' notice and we stop. Everything we built — pages, content, profiles, listings — stays yours. We don't take pages down or reclaim work.
Want to know why you’re not ranking?
Send us your website. We’ll come back within two business days with a plain-English audit: what’s holding you back, what your competitors are doing, and what we’d fix first. No charge, no obligation.
